Vehicle fire on A1 near Newark causing lane closure and delays

One lane of the A1 near Newark is closed due to a vehicle fire.

The AA has reported delays of up to 15 minutes, due to a vehicle fire on A1 Northbound after B6326 Great North Road.

The incident is between the Balderton and Claypole turn-offs, with severe queues between the two junctions.
