Venue change signs consultation
The venue for public consultations on signposts in Newark and Sherwood has been changed.
The consultations, which were supposed to be at Kelham Hall, have now been switched to the offices of Morgan Tucker Ltd at 65 Northgate, Newark.
Two of the sessions will take place on Tuesday from 2-4pm and 5-7pm while the third will be held on Wednesday from 10am-noon.
Signs in the town are set to be refreshed, and the project will look first at signage for the new National Civil War Centre being created on Appletongate, Newark, and the new hi-tech history trail which will lead tourists around Newark and the wider district.
Julie Reader-Sullivan, the district council's business manager - economic growth, said: "This part of the project will assist in promoting our town and helping visitors navigate easily when they visit."
