Southwell: Southwell Library Poetry Festival

Thursday 17 - Sunday July 20

Celebrate poetry through readings, workshops and performances.

This year’s event features Derbyshire Poet Laureate Helen Mort, who was recently shortlisted for the T.S. Eliot Award. New for this year are the Southwell Poetry Slam, and the magical poetry tree where children can write poems on bunting and display them on the library’s Bramley Apple Tree.
