Woman has life-threatening injuries after A1 crash




A 44-year-old woman has suffered life-threatening injuries after a crash on the A1.

The two-car collision happened just south of the Blyth services, on the northbound carriageway.

Nottinghamshire Police were called just after 1am.

Five people were taken to hospital. The woman who suffered life-threatening injuries was a passenger in one of the vehicles.

The road was closed for several hours following the crash.
