Worshippers to process with cross

A Walk of Witness will be held in Newark today organised by Churches Together in Newark.

A cross will be carried at the head of the procession, which will leave from the London Road carpark at 11.30am.

It will finish in the Market Place where there will be a service conducted by Newark Methodist minister, the Rev Philip Macdonald.

It will be preceded at 10.30am by an ecumenical service in Newark Parish Church, with hot cross buns.
