Blaser Cup a success with a strong contingent at Orston Shooting Ground seeing David Ferriman win top gun




A two-day shooting tournament was a success with shooters from all over the country turning up to compete.

The Blaser Cup was a hotly contested event with over £14000 in prize money being put up for grabs.

The event was open to shooters of all skill levels and several categories could be entered.

David Ferriman was top gun on the day shooting 147 and winning £2500 for his efforts.

Martin Myers won the AAA class shooting 145.

Darren Standford won the AA class shooting 142.

Archie Alexander won the A class shooting 137.

Nathan Nichols won the B class shooting 133,

Liam Hall shot 125 to top and win the C class.

The club hosts several competitions throughout the year including the prestigious Orston Masters which will be held on August 26 and 27 this year.
