Footballing legend Paul Hart conducts training for You Can Do Sports Academy in taster session to show potential recruits what is on offer





A footballing legend dusted off his coaching boots to take a taster session at a sports academy.

Paul Hart who made 567 appearances in the football league as a defender before going on to be a football manager conducted training for the You Can Do Sport event at the YMCA Activity Village.

Hart is the ambassador for You Can Do Sport, the organisation that held the event.

The former Nottingham Forest, Leeds United, and Blackpool player ran the participants through a variety of drills in training.

Academy principal, Natalia Hart said that the session had gone down well with everyone involved.

"It was a very rare opportunity to join in with Paul for those lucky enough to join us for it," said Natalia.

"We were delighted to see so many females at the session as we continue to champion women in football.

"We continue to strive to launch You Can Do Sport Ladies' Football Club."

Another session will be held on Saturday, February 24 from 3-5pm at the YMCA Activity Village.
