Newark and Sherwood United to play league champions Sherwood Colliery in pay what you want match tomorrow

As the football season reaches its climax, a special event is set to unfold in the United Counties League Premier Division North tomorrow (Saturday).

Newark and Sherwood United will play Sherwood Colliery in a ‘Pay What You Want’ match at Debdale Sports Ground (kick-off 3pm).

Fans will be invited to contribute whatever they feel for admission with half of the funds going to charities Lashes Foundation and Alzheimer’s Foundation.

Sherwood Colliery have won the competition and fans will get the opportunity to see the side lift the trophy as champions.

Romaine Graham’s side will be hoping to dim the light of the occasion by causing an upset against The Wood and want to make it eleven games unbeaten in a row for The Highwaymen.
