Ollerton Colliery strengthened their hopes of promotion from Division Seven after a remarkable eight-wicket win.
They are third after dismissing bottom club Wiseton for 19 in 14.3 overs and replying with 20 for two. The visitors’ top score was six as Jamie Theaker took five for 11.
David Loveridge made runs and took wickets as Farnsfield 2nds won by 34 runs at Milton 1sts in their mid-table Division Two clash.
He scored 27 down the order in the visitors’ total of 175 and then claimed three for 27 from 12 overs.
David Bates also took three wickets as Milton were dismissed for 141, despite 33 from opener Joe Saxelby and 42 from wicketkeeper David Stone.
Liam Delaney top-scored for Farnsfield with 67. Daniel Walker led the Milton wicket-taking with four for 33.
Bilsthorpe’s hopes of promotion in Division Five were hit by a 12-run defeat at Lea&Roses 2nds, that left them second and one point clear of chasing Rockware.
Chris Spittlehouse and Daniel Dallman claimed three wickets apiece as the home side were bowled out for 99.
The bowlers added runs in the reply, scoring 19 and 23 respectively.
Opener Alan Hall top-scored with 24, but no other batsman reached double figures as Bilsthorpe fell short.
In Division Six, Pete Frettingham claimed five for 20 as Farnsfield 3rds won by eight wickets at Killamarsh Juniors (62-9) to go fourth.
