A six-wicket defeat leaves them in third place, 22 points behind leaders Eastwood, who also have a game in hand.
Raj Mohankumar top-scored with 54 while opener Harry Atkinson hit 33 as Newark were bowled out for 161.
Sonu Charley and Bhuvanesh Sankaran removed the Eastwood openers cheaply to keep the visitors in contention.
James Anderson went on to take 2-25 in eight overs but the home side completed a comfortable victory in the 39th over.
Newark Ransome & Marles 2nds went down to Soar Valley 2nds by 38 runs in Division H.
