Stirling is Notts' latest new boy
Notts County manager Martin Allen completed his third signing of the close season on Thursday, with the capture of utility man Jude Stirling on a two-year deal.
Stirling, who has played under Allen at both MK Dons and Barnet brings versatility and experience to the Notts County backline and the manager was delighted to have been reunited with the 28-year-old.
“Jude can play in an number of positions including left-back, right-back, centre-back, central midfield or holding midfield," said Allen.
“He has been brought here as a squad player. He’s great in the dressing room with all of the players. He’s very dangerous in the final third and he’s very helpful in our own defensive third.
“He’s a good player and a good man to have in our squad.”
Stirling joins Ishmel Demontagnac and Julian Kelly at Meadow Lane. Allen has also confirmed the club have offered a two-year deal to striker Marlon Harewood, who is a free agent.
