Tony Joynes resigns from Newark Town role
Newark Town manager Tony Joynes has resigned from his role, the club has confirmed.
The club said he had stepped down due to an increase in work commitments.
He has had two spells in charge at the club, spanning seven seasons in total.
Last season he guided Newark to their highest league position as they reached fourth position in the Central Midlands League North.
A spokesman said: "The club wish to place on record their sincere appreciation and thanks for all the time and effort Tony has put in on behalf of Newark Town and wish him all the best for the future."
Newark will now begin the process of appointing a new manager.
