Blues performers join forces

Two leading blues players are joining together for an evening of music on Saturday at Farnsfield Village Centre.

Ben Tyzack, who usually performs with the ever popular Spikedrivers, will share the stage with Guy Tortora, who normally plays with his own band.

Their outstanding talent on guitar plus their soulful vocals conjure up an image of the hot, humid laid-back, deep south of the US.

While born in London, Ben was raised in the deep south of the US, which shows in his raw delta blues. His guitar playing is described as intoxicating and is combined with a soulful voice and commanding stage presence.

Guy, born and raised in Pasedena, California but now a London resident, is a highly accomplished songwriter and performer in Americana.
