Newark Patriotic Fund organises concert featuring the Band of RAF College Cranwell and Cranwell Military Wives at Palace Theatre
Newark Patriotic Fund has organised a concert featuring the Band of RAF College Cranwell, but also the Cranwell Military Wives.
It is said to be unusual to have both performing on the same stage on the same night.
The Band of RAF College Cranwell will be premiering a new piece of music at the event.
It takes place at the Palace Theatre on Friday, November 4.
Tickets are £17.50 and the show starts at 7.30pm.
The bar will remain open after the show for those who want to stay and have a catch up with friends.
The event has been sponsored by Ann et Vin, Fine & Country, Derry Ltd, Andoner Ltd, Evenbrooke Ltd, which is the company owned by the family of John Coles, a fund trustee, who during the second coronavirus lockdown, T&C Home Interiors, Burnt Toast and Newark Storage
The Mayor of Newark, Laurence Goff, and the chairman of the district council, Sue Saddington, will be among those attending.
The fund promises an evening of excellent entertainment with some Last Night of the Proms songs and flag-waving.
