Dramatic workshops

YOUNGSTERS can spend the Easter holidays brushing up their acting skills.

The Nearly Instant Theatre Sessions are running three drama workshops in the area.

NITS Reads The News is at Newark Academy’s Lilley and Stone site on London Road a week today and a week tomorrow from 10am to 3.30pm.

The workshops will end with a performance for family and friends on the Friday at 3pm.

NITS Opens A Restaurant takes place at the Guildhall Arts Centre, Grantham, on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The workshops again end with a performance on the Wednesday at 3pm.

There is a special event at Lowes Wong Infants School, Southwell, from April 15 to 17 when youngsters are being given a chance to create a musical play.

NITS Joins The Circus will be partly structured and partly improvised and will teach beginners and experienced performers acting, singing and dancing. Again there will be performances on the final day.
