An evening of chamber music takes place in Doddington Hall on Sunday as part of a summer concert series curated by artistic director Graham Oppenheimer.

The music will be provided in the Long Gallery by the London-based Arcus Quartet, who formed in 2016 while studying at the Royal College of Music in London.

They are Lida Lymi and Abel Puustinen on violin, Geeta Nazareth on viola and Ruth Hallows on cello.

The programme is Schubert’s Death And The Maiden and Dvorak’s String Quintet in E Flat Major.

Access to the gardens is from 11am and the hall from noon. Prosecco will be served on the terrace from 4.30pm ahead of the concert at 5.15pm.

The event is to raise money towards a project to save the Doddington tapestries.
