Ant Middleton shows Mind Over Muscle at Royal Concert Hall, Nottingham

Endurance expert Ant Middleton is set to share more of his adventures and motivation at Nottingham’s Royal Concert Hall next week.

Best known for his role as chief instructor on television’s SAS: Who Dares Wins, Ant has become a master of adventure and endurance on and off-screen, spurred by his formidable career in the UK’s elite forces, including the Marines, 9 Parachute Squadron and SBS.

Since 2017, Ant has regularly toured sold out venues in the UK with his live Mind Over Muscle show.

He brings it back to the concert hall on Monday and Tuesday next week.

Speaking about the tour, Ant said: “I think we can all agree 2020 has been a tough year for everyone. But we want to leave the hardship and struggles behind us and look forward to a positive and brighter 2021.

“The power of your mind is stronger than physicality.

“I’ll share life skills and philosophy on how to live your best life.

“There are two lives you can be living, the one you are living now and the better one which is just a step away.”

Ant’s appetite for adventure and extremes has led him to take on some amazing challenges including fronting Channel 4’s show Mutiny and survivalist programme Escape.

In 2018, he conquered Mount Everest,in the Channel 4 hit Extreme Everest.

Before Ant’s visit, musician Seasick Steve is at the venue on Saturday with a special, intimate show, Just Steve, A Guitar and You.

He is touring in support of his latest album, Blues In Mono.

Steve said: “I‘m looking forward to coming and playing for y’all. Just gonna be me, you and my guitar. A few songs and a few stories, kinda like we just hanging out together.”

Last year saw Steve release two albums, the rocking Love And Peace in July and the acoustic Blues In Mono in November, a timeless tribute to traditional, acoustic country blues recorded with a microphone from the 1940s with Steve performing the songs solo, direct to an old tape machine.
