Star performer to bring the best of Meat Loaf to Newark Palace Theatre

Critically-acclaimed Steve Steinman brings his smash-hit production of Anything For Love ­— The Meat Loaf Story: It’s All About The Music! to Newark Palace Theatre on Saturday, June 11.

Following his sell out 2021 national tour, Steve is back with a new production featuring more than 25 of Meat Loaf and Jim Steinman’s greatest hits.

It will feature special guest star Lorraine Crosby, the female lead vocalist on Meat Loaf’s Grammy-Award-winning song and global smash I Would Do Anything For Love (But I Won’t Do That).

Steve has been performing for more than 30 years since appearing on television talent show Stars In Their Eyes as Meat Loaf.

Anything For Love ­— The Meat Loaf Story: It’s All About The Music! combines incredible stage set, ten-piece live band and Steve’s well-known sense of humour and stage presence.

It includes some of Meat Loaf’s greatest hits, such as Anything For Love, Bat Out Of Hell, Paradise By The Dashboard Light, Took The Words Right Out Of My Mouth, Two Out Of Three Ain’t Bad, and Dead Ringer For Love.

At the Palace on Thursday, June 16 is Menopause The Musical 2, starring Crissy Rock (Benidorm) Rebecca Wheatley (Casualty) Nicki French (Eurovision) and West End star Susie Fenwick.

The sequel to Menopause The Musical, it moves five years on to catch up with the same characters with tales of their lives, loves and losses as they set off on the high seas. For them, the menopause was not the beginning of the end, but the start of a beautiful friendship.
