Strauss waltzes

Now in its ninth year, and back by popular demand, Strauss Gala Productions presents A Viennese Strauss Gala at the Palace Theatre, Newark, a week on Sunday at 7.30pm.
The production recreates the romance of the Viennese festive season featuring glamorous soirées and waltzes.
The show features highlights from some of the great operettas of the Strauss family, Kalman and Lehar, such as Die Fledermaus and The Merry Widow.
The soloists from Opera North, English National Opera and the D’Oyly Carte, will be accompanied by the European Orchestral Ensemble. The show will be performed in period costume.
