Gloworm Festival : Time for a family party
A festival with entertainment for all the family takes place at Clumber Park this weekend, offering two days of celebrities, music, films, and fun and attractions for children.
The Gloworm Festival takes place on Saturday and Sunday.
There is music on the main stage on both days.
Headlining on Saturday, are Jo O’Meara, Bradley McIntosh and Tina Barrett, of S Club, who will be performing all their classics.
Also on the main stage on Saturday are Blake Bastion, Twin Kidd, One Step Behind, Cuban Brothers and Nathan Hadley.
The Chuckle Brothers will be bringing their brand of comedy to the stage around 2pm.
One Sunday top tribute acts Kazabian and The Killerz close the event.
Before them are Casey Lowry, Idle Empire, Golden Troubodours and Seas Of Mirth.
CBBC’s Andy Day will entertain his young fans around 3pm.
There is the chance to meet many characters from favourate children’s shows throughout the weekend.
In the Big Top on Saturday there is a chance to see Postman Pat and his black and white cat, Jess, as well as PJ Masks and magicians Carl and Dave.
For even younger festival-goers there is the Tiny Tent where there is the chance to join Tumble Tots, Messy Monsterz, Jo Jingles, and the Creation Station.
There is even a beach with Punch and Judy shows, donkey rides and a pirate ship while dinosaur fans can visit the Dino Zone where there are various themed activities.
In addition, there is a fairground, film shows and family workshops.
