Appeal after Newark phone shop burglary




Police officers investigating a burglary in Newark are turning to the public for help in identifying a man, having exhausted a number of lines of inquiry.

In the early hours of May 18, two individuals gained entry to a phone shop in Newark Market Place.

A number of laptops, mobile phones and cash were stolen.

Officers would like to speak to two men in connection with the incident.

One is a white man, aged in his mid-30s, of medium build, with dark hair and gaunt facial features.

He was wearing a baseball cap and a jacket with the words ‘Renault Sport’ across the back.

The second man is white, wearing a face covering and a hoodie.

Anyone with any information should call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 176 of May 18, 2017.
