Crash closed Main Street, Balderton, on Saturday afternoon

A busy village main street was sealed off by police on Saturday afternoon following a two-car collision.

The crash happened on Main Street, Balderton, at around 12.30pm.

The air ambulance was summoned to attend the incident but couldn't land, say police, so a male casualty from a Vauxhall Corsa, which was involved, was taken to Lincoln County Hospital with what transpired to be non-serious injuries.

The other vehicle involved was a Hyundai estate.
