Police officer in court

A police officer based at Newark has appeared in court charged with two counts of attempting to engage a child in sexual communication.
Pc Lee Bowditch, 48, who is suspended from his duties, attended Nottingham Magistrates’ Court today.
He will appear at Nottingham Crown Court on August 23.
