Newark officers assist Hertfordshire Police in search on Tolney Lane arresting teen on suspicion of catalytic converter thefts

Newark officers assisted Hertfordshire Police in conducting a Section 18 search on Tolney Lane yesterday (Thursday).

A 19-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of catalytic converter thefts during the Reacher team's visit.

A Ford Transit Van was also seized as it was believed to contain stolen vehicle parts.

The youth remains in custody as inquiries continue.

Reacher officers were supported by response officers from both Newark and Mansfield.
