Teenager taken to hospital after crash

A 17-year-old girl has been taken to hospital following a crash.

The crash, between a car and a motorbike, happened at the junction of Hawton Lane and Bowbridge Road.

Police were called at 10.35am today (Tuesday).

The teenager, who was riding the motorbike, was taken to King's Mill Hospital, Sutton-in-Ashfield, with a suspected broken leg.

One lane of Hawton Road was closed but it is now clear.
